Ury morning

This painting is from one of the first drawings I did following our move to The Ury Estate in 2004. The magnificent mansion house built by the Barclay family, later of Barclays Bank fame, had been reduced to a ruin. Fortunately, there were plans to rebuild the house and transform the Estate.
Sadly, 20 years on, these plans, still have some way to go before they become reality.
