Fully grounded in the earth, aspiring toward the divine, ever blooming from within toward the light. The lotus comes from the murkiest water but grows into the purest thing.

This woodblock print is my first experience with both the material and scale of the piece. I hand carved the wood block over three months and printed it using a large steel plate roller press.
There are only 3 prints in this edition, numbered in the order they were printed. The third print is currently available framed with dual black and white mats, plexiglass, and a custom barnwood frame.
