Joalene is a Fine Art Photographer
and Conceptual Artist, turning her
photos into paintings through digital
manipulation (Photo Giclee),
specializing in Flowers, Landscape,
Seascapes - all reflecting the Magic
and Wonder of Our Beautiful Hawaii
Nei Aloha. She resides in Pahoa, on
the Big Island of Hawaii - the Land of
Fire and Ice (from Madam Pele’s Fiery
Volcano to Mauna Kea’s Ice),
surrounded and inspired by the
beautiful Rain Forest of Puna,
Waterfalls, Rainbows, and Flowers of
Aloha. Embraced by the Aloha,
Joalene wants to share this Magical
Place with everyone through her
Photo-Paintings. It became a Joy and
a Passion - hence, Flowers of Aloha.
The Waimea Arts Council, a 501(c)3 Hawaii non-profit, is the Island of Hawaii's oldest art organization. Established 1974.
