Fernanda Lavera
Stop War by Fernanda Lavera Image: In March 2021, having just returned from my last exhibition in Miami, I was reading an interview that I had done for Quórum magazine in Argentina. In it I came across an article that talked about the war in Ukraine. The article was accompanied by an image showing a demonstration against Putin. In the photo, a boy can be seen holding a sign that read: STOP WAR.

This boy became the motivation for the creation of Stop War in my atelier. It is a work that is charged with emotions, where bloody reds contrast with a fluorescent lemon yellow. There is my poster. There I am! read me!
