María Fernanda Lavera is a cotemporary artist, from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
MessageIt’s curious how impactful phrases can sow the seeds of something meaningful in our lives. As the great master Pablo Picasso once said: “Painting is like keeping a diary.”
In my atelier in Buenos Aires, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across a magazine article about the life of Charly García, our iconic national rock star. After so many ups and downs in his health and multiple hospitalizations due to his addictions, the musician is now in the care of people very close to him, confined to a wheelchair. In the photo, I saw how he smiles without smiling.
Could Charly be a zombie?
