It’s strange how my mind works,
my inner child drifts into fantasy.

And there was Dr. Bombay,
unfolding,
slipping out of a Snoop Dogg sneaker.

The reds invite him to stay,
the yellows play
like robot dogs.

That summer I painted,
while watching Stranger Things.
