"My paintings are a personal exploration of both literal and emotional places I’ve been to. Through abstraction I can re-experience these places beyond a literal or realistic translation through finding a connection or memory through marks, gestures, colour and relationships of space. Art for me has always been about telling the truth about myself".
Felicity has been selected as a finalist in the Blacktown Art Prize and the Hornsby Art Prize 2015 and has also been a five time finalist in the Gosford Art Prize.
She was awarded 'Highly Commended' for the 'Art on Board' Prize, Art Shine Gallery Sydney, July 2015.
She has been selected in the 'Art in the Vines' show (highly commended) and the Waverley Art Prize three times.
She was awarded a commission of 75 works for the Sir Norman Foster Building, 'Lumiere', Regents Place, Sydney in 2006.
In addition to being a professional artist Felicity is a registered psychologist and has a Masters degree in Art Therapy. With this unique mix of skills she spends much of her time these days enjoying mentoring other artists to gain more from their art personally and professionally.
She currently enjoys working from her home studio on the N.S.W. Central Coast.
