Art is my lifeline! Through daily mixed media, I navigate my bipolar and anxiety, transforming chaos into calm and emotion into healing and connection.
MessageI am a Queensland-based Australian artist with over 27 years of Art practice using painting, sculpture, and journaling to navigate Bipolar Disorder and anxiety.
My mixed media work, figurative, landscape, and abstract, expresses raw emotion and personal experience. Exhibited nationally and internationally, my art transforms chaos into calm and serves as a tool for healing and connection.
Through my journey, I aim to inspire others to find balance and self-compassion through creativity.

Statement
Life’s beauty is often fleeting, joyful yet fragile, vulnerable to time and memory. My art reflects this impermanence, drawing from my surroundings, emotions, and a rich inner world shaped in part by living with Bipolar Affective Disorder and Anxiety. Creating is my therapy, a vital part of my mental wellbeing.
I work across figurative, abstract, landscape, and still life genres, often blending them to express what words cannot. My figures are symbolic rather than realistic, carrying emotional weight and hidden stories. Colour plays a key role, guided by mood, unbound by tradition.
Whether painting or drawing, my focus is always on conveying emotion and connection. I hope viewers find a piece of themselves in my work, just as I have found pieces of myself in creating it.
With gratitude to those who have supported me over the past 27years, I’m honoured that my art now lives in collections across Australia, the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Singapore.
