During the pandemic, Kris Casto of Casto Oaks Winery, offered her property as a place where local painters could continue their outdoor work. Yosemite, my normal "go - to" was closed, then highly regulated, so this offer was a saving grace for us painters, and for me, an opportunity to paint a new subject matter! It started with three of us, and grew to around eight. The property is large so it was easy to disperse.
