This was a lockdown painting. I worked with the model by sending and adjusting photographs by email and describing my vision. This is the first painting of a pair, which I envisaged hanging and complementing each other together. I love the Bronte books, particularly Jane Eyre. At the end I felt she could almost be Jane Bond!
