Evangeline Thyme is a British artist who lives in the countryside, near Canterbury in Kent. Evie shares her mind and observations of the quiet things that most of us overlook, and turns these observations into paintings that stay with us. The Canterbury Studio produces just five significant large-scale narrative canvases each year. This deliberate pace ensures thinking space for meticulous compositional development, deep psychological layering and an uncompromising standard of execution.
Statement
My paintings are identity pieces, conversation pieces, and emotionally reflective pieces. My buyers find the paintings reflect something in themselves, create atmosphere and emotional tone in a room and gives their home identity. My paintings are for larger statement wall positioning.
