Refinding art projects is one of my favorite things. So often one begins an artwork and is interpreted or distracted. To re-find a piece and then give it new life is a joyful experience. There is something miraculous about leaving an artwork to percolate! Then, Boom ‼️ the piece finds you or you re-find it and it’s asking you to work with it. To not rush off and ignore the call of the art work, is the opportunity. A promise to you of a moment of grace and blessing. I began this little hummingbird drawing a couple years ago. It re-found me as I cleaned out some art drawers.

MessageMy inspiration to create visual art comes from my Roman Catholic Traditional Faith, family, nature, community, and current contemporary subjects.
I value experimentation in my creative process. I engage with materials that ignite my imagination. Visions, dreams and contemplation play a strong role in my innovative approach.
I collaborate with artists, I enjoy working with ideas on public art projects that positively effect people and communities.
Additionally, I use typography and graphic design elements in my work.
I believe words are alive—imbued with thousands of years of meaning.
Letters express their own kind of symbology and speak to every person uniquely.
In my creating I endeavor to make the invisible visible.
