This painting was painted on location in Albany, CA. A beautiful waterfront park runs along the Golden Gate horse racing track. These stacked pallets in the parking lot of Golden Gate Fields created a unique three-dimensional landscape. As a contemporary cityscape painter, I found this composition interesting, and it reminded me of painting city streets. The muted colors added to the rural vibe, and the puddle in the foreground added interest to the pavement.
The painting can be purchased without a frame or framed, but please note that it will need to be framed to hang on the wall. A contemporary black frame with an inner gold lip surrounds the framed painting. It is wired and ready for hanging.
