This was painted on location at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland, CA. The port of Oakland is a fascinating place to visit as you watch large cargo ships being unloaded. This view highlights the huge aisles of containers as they come off the ship and await further transportation. The green arches move back and forwards, and the yellow grabber picks up the precise container to deliver to the trucks.
This painting was created on a gesso panel made by Jack Richeson & Co. and painted with professional oil paints. It has also been sealed with a layer of Gamsol varnish to protect and enhance the oil paint. This artwork is shipped unframed.
