I created this Plein air artwork on Alameda Island, looking across to the port of Oakland. This early morning painting captured the heavy overcast skies of the summer coast while cargo ships lined up along Oakland waiting to be unloaded.

This painting was created on a premium gesso panel made by Jack Richeson & Co. and painted with professional oil paints. It has also been sealed with a layer of Gamsol varnish to protect and enhance the oil paint. This artwork is shipped unframed.
