Created from: The Happy Prince and Other Tales by Oscar Wilde, published in 1920's. A little black kitty ponders what it mean to be a princess. One of the stories in the book is The Birthday of The Infanta, a child princess who has a lavish birthday celebration. Through her and her friends’ actions, they ultimately causes a dwarf to take his life. After looking at many images of Oscar Wilde, I envisioned him as a cat – maybe it is because of his apparel of velvet and fir trimmed coats. So this kitty ponders what the role of a princess can be and how she could make her reign one of acceptance and love.
