Created from: Classic Myths published in 1911. This was obviously a book for a college class as it had several owners. Janet must have been the first – her name was written the fore-edge and she had notes on the back endpapers. The front endpaper has been removed presumably because Janet had written her name and who knows what else on it. The second owner had written her name on the next page, Mary Kate Pachak. I know Mary Kate as she is my mother-in-law. She has dementia and desperately wants a cat. We got her a black stuffed cat that she loves. I have two cats, a black long hair and a gray tabby. Varuka, the elder tabby, doesn’t want anything to do with Sydnie, the black kitty nor did she want anything to do with her older brother who passed away several years ago. Sydnie, very much wants to be friends and is always attempting to convince her that they can be. The black cat is Mary Kate’s familiar, desperately wanting a to be friends and the gray tabby is both Janet and dementia, begrudgingly living with a newcomer.
