The art work is based on 365 pages of classic works by Rothko and Blossfelt, selected randomly from volumes of the artist’s works. Pages were opened to face each other each day during 2024. The images that appeared together, were collected, (as photographs), in order to create pastel drawings documenting a spontaneous relationship between the two artists, and as a further comment on their contemporary significance. Three pastel drawings were created from the original selections as they appeared and are sold as a single piece.
