This work represents the literal and figurative flora and fauna of my life. It is those things that I love: cats (of course), plants, textiles, pattern, light, color, chaos, and drama all combined in a cozy spot. Similar vignettes make up the interior of my home, but it is also a glimpse inside my brain. This painting illustrates my introverted need for nesting but also visual stimulation and companionship. The composition was comprised of several views and added props. Frida, my calico, added herself.
