Continuous unspun jute is woven into a black cotton warp. I have added gold leaf, featuring it on the right hand side in a splash pattern.
Jute is a natural fibre with a golden and silky shine, it is referred to as the Golden Fibre and my use of gold leaf enhances that reputation.
