I absolutely love the way the colours blend in this painting. The light glows from behind the clouds and sparkles on the water. It was a joy to paint and watch as it evolved. I found the light to be incredible and it is a stunning piece to behold. It was all done with a mixture of oil paint and wax applied with tissue paper. It was a time consuming piece but well worth the effort. It will be a fabulous addition to anyone’s home or office. It has a very matt finish but as it is a cold wax piece it can also be buffed to a satin finish.
