Designed and created as a father's day present for a special dad who's fascination for the beauty and wonder of sea snails and the shells in which they call home, I had a lot of fun putting this piece together. A watercolour-on-paper piece, delivered vacuum-sealed and matted as with all my watercolour pieces, I created this vibrant piece depicting the tiny snails hidden among the rock pools, in which, as children, our fascination with the beauty of these little creatures begins. Watercolour allows for the creation of beautiful textures and bright colours that characterise this piece.
