Elena Kochetkova, known as EK, is a distinguished fine artist and architect who has made a significant impact in both fields for over four decades. Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, she graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1978 and began her career at Mospromproject 2. Among her notable projects from the Soviet era are the complex for the economic advisor to Nigeria in Lagos and the country residence of former General Secretary Brezhnev.
Elena established her own architectural firm, where she successfully completed numerous remarkable projects, including residential buildings in England, Russia, and Austria, as well as a diplomatic complex in Lagos. Her work is characterized by a blend of functionality and dynamic visuals, enriched by innovative solutions that have garnered her both national and international acclaim.
