Echoes / Macallaí ‒ A Solo Exhibition by Eithne O’Riordan
The Ionad Cultúrtha, Ballyvourney, is delighted to present Echoes / Macallaí, a solo exhibition of paintings by Eithne O’Riordan, running until November 9, 2025.
This exhibition gathers work from the past two years, ranging from figurative pieces to semi-abstract imagined landscapes. At its heart is a dialogue between memory, place, and transformation. Many of the works are inspired by the landscape and history of Ballyvourney and its surroundings — from the woods near St. Gobnait’s to quiet places where nature steadily reclaims traces of the past.
Eithne O'Riordan is an artist living on the Dingle Peninsula but from Ballyvourney. She has previously shown work in the Lavit Gallery, The Millcove Gallery, An Diseart, And Siamsa Tíre, but Echoes/Macallaí marks her first solo exhibition.
“Eithne’s work is mystical and captivating, deeply connected to nature and place. It captures fleeting moments that feel of this world, another realm, or ancient stories.” – Angela Power
