The first time I saw these birds in person I exclaimed they looked like Punk Rocker wannabees with their pointy-looking head feathers blowing in the wind. From that point my family and I refer to them as punk rock birds. And their group of terns, according to us, is not a skein, but rather a fest as in festival. That is how this painting got its name: Rock Fest.
If you see this somewhere else on the internet by the name of Punk Rock Birds, it is the exact same painting. On the back of the canvas I've written Rock Fest but I sometimes refer to it as Punk Rock Birds. If you are the purchaser of this piece I will send to you a certificate of authenticity as long as I or the shop owner have record of your name and address at the time of purchase.
