After a morning spent admiring the incredible Redwood Forests of Muir park, we meandered our way down the Muir beach. It was like no other beach I have ever been on. The sand was dark and almost blue in hue. Huge rocks lay stranded on shore and waves crashed against them. The tide was low so Bits of crabs and seaweed lay along my path. Birds rode the air currents above me. When I came home I got out my paints and tried to recreate that feeling.
