MessageThe East Bay Photo Collective is an arts non-profit providing inspiration, education, facilities, and community to artists in the Bay Area, particularly those who are underrepresented or lack access. EBPCO offers monthly, free programming that is open to the public, including but not limited to photowalks, social events, critiques, and format-specific clubs.
Oakland Photo Workshop, EBPCO's gallery and workspace, is located in Oakland's historic Chinatown district. They host exhibitions by local photographers and curators and house an extensive photobook reference library.
The East Bay Photo Collective Community Darkroom, located in Downtown Oakland, is a B&W group darkroom offering monthly memberships at low cost to artists.
Each location hosts workshops in traditional and digital photographic processes, professional development, and alternative processes.
