Anthony Bourdain was a celebrity chef, author and travel documentarian. Despite his charisma on screen, Bourdain often described himself as socially awkward and introverted, saying that he found comfort in the structure and chaos of kitchens rather than socializing. A recovered heroin addict, Bourdain didn't become famous until his 40's. He loved comic books and co-wrote several graphic novels. Despite being outwardly successful and engaged in his work he killed himself in his hotel in France.
