"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see"

Edgar Degas

Hello, my name is Dwayne Mitchell, I'm a professional Portrait Artist.

My art is a reflection of the human experience, capturing the depth and a complexity of each individual's story through the use of vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes. With every stroke of paint, i strive to reveal the emotions, struggles, and triumph that lies beneath the surface. Each person I paint becomes a living, breathing entity on canvas, their essence shining through in every expression and gesture. As I delve deeper into the intricacies of human nature, i am constantly reminded of the beauty and power that lies within each individual. Through my art, i seek to honor and celebrate the unique narrative that makes up the tapestry of humanity, inviting viewers to connect with these stories on a profound level. My passion for painting people knows no bounds, it is an exploration of identity, history, and so that trends in time and space.

My influences are Simmie Knox, John Howard Sanden and my Mentor HoEun Chung.
