The notion of Evil has played a large role in my ruminations for many years. I am convinced of its existence, though I hesitate to describe its exact boundaries. And it appears to be thriving these days. In Latino culture, the devil, that very personification of Evil, is common. And, thus, it’s been common in my art for quite a while. This time it shows up as a TREE OF DEVILS, easily a nightmare come to life. We can only hope to wake up soon.
