Seek and Find

The Brown Pelican is a great bird to watch if you're out fishing on the coast. He scans the seas, flying high and low, going back and forth, looking for smaller fish to eat. When he sees them, he will dive from the air, creating a great splash, rarely, if ever missing his meal. If we want to catch fish, we look for the pelicans! Matthew 6 tells us not to worry about life because God even takes care of the birds and we are of much more value to Him. Matthew 7 tells us if we seek the Lord, we will find him. And Psalm 34, speaks of all the benefits of seeking the Lord- from answering us when we call on Him, never shaming, and delivering us from our troubles and surrounding us with Angel protection. Verse 10 says The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
