A new steel plate starts to have its content the moment I start working on it, but scrap metal plates have their content even before I start working on them. Refrigerators, cars, fire extinguishers, etc. have played their respective roles, and numerous traces engraved show them. Inspired by the scratches, nicks, peelings, fades, and functional structures of discarded scrap metal plates, I cut them into human shapes.
新鋼板在我開始加工的那一刻就開始具有其內容，但廢金屬板甚至在我開始加工之前就已具有其內容。冰箱、汽車、滅火器等都發揮了各自的作用，無數的痕跡都刻在了它們的身上。受到廢棄金屬板的划痕、刻痕、剝落、褪色和功能結構的啟發，我將它們切割成人的形狀。
