On March 16, 2025, I was thrilled and deeply honored to receive the First Community Bank of Central Alabama–Wetumpka Purchase Award for my painting A Walk in the Park at the Elmore County Art Guild’s 40th Anniversary Art Show. A Walk in the Park is a painting of the walking bridge in Gold Star Park located in Wetumpka, Alabama.
Having this piece recognized and selected for purchase made an already special exhibition even more memorable. I’m incredibly grateful to First Community Bank of Central Alabama for supporting local artists and giving A Walk in the Park a wonderful new home!
