Donna Richardson is a Prattville, Alabama-based artist whose work blends vibrant color with expressive texture, often inspired by nature, wildlife, and the beauty found in everyday moments.

After earning a degree in Business Administration from Faulkner University and building a successful corporate career, Donna later reconnected with her creative roots before discovering her true passion in painting. What began as a personal, almost spiritual escape has grown into a joyful and meaningful artistic journey.

Her paintings combine elements of realism and abstraction, using bold color, layered brushwork, and palette knife techniques to create movement, depth, and emotion. Whether capturing the personality of a bird, the energy of a landscape, or a moment of quiet beauty, her goal is to create pieces that feel alive and engaging.

Donna actively participates in local exhibits, festivals, and gallery events throughout the River Region. She served a two-year term as Secretary of the Prattauga Art Guild, supporting and connecting with fellow artists in her community.
