Wanamaker II
April 2025, A new woodcut by Don Gorvett. Don has revisited the Tug, John Wanamaker, in a new woodcut. From 1994 to 2002, the antique steam tug was docked at One Harbor Place in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, serving as a portside restaurant.

Don extended the size and design of the woodcut, which includes a fanciful structure anchoring the northern side of the Memorial Bridge. A limited number of these single-color states have been printed, and Don will go on, using the same woodblock to create the reduction woodcut, John Wanamaker III.
