This is a view of the Moran tugs in Portsmouth Harbor, as seen from the roof of the old ferry landing that was in use before the Memorial Bridge was built. The ferry went from Ceres Street across the river to Badger Island. This was one of several ferry crossings between Portsmouth, Kittery, the Navy Yard, and New Castle.
