Seine Boat, The Limited Edition of 20
This is an early reduction linocut printed on a small Brand Press at the Berwick Road summer cabin around 1984. While drawing in Perkins Cove, Don noticed two unfamiliar Seine Boats riding out the storm in the safety of the small harbor. The design was drawn directly onto the block, and surrounding the two boats is a fantasy of sea creatures. The drawbridge and other Cove vessels are woven into the design.
