Ruins, Cape Ann Fisheries, The Fort Limited Edition of 75

A new look at a woodcut design was first introduced in 2011. The two woodcuts, Fort Ruins (2011) and Ruin, Cape Ann Fisheries, The Fort (2022), depict the remains of the Cape Ann Fisheries as they looked in the 1990s. Ancient pilings and stonework that once supported the Cape Ann Fisheries superstructure are all that remained at the time Don drew the study. In the 1970s, the Fisheries burned down. Exposed to the Harbor after the fire is the old neighborhood known as The Fort.
