Flounder Open Edition
During my high school years, I would take my fishing rod and reel and my art supplies on the "T" from Burlington to Cambridge to Boston Harbor. After fishing, I would draw and paint at the State Pier. At this time, I would catch flounders and eels in the Harbor.
In the spring of 1967 a series of Boston Harbor drawings and paintings done over a fews weeks and were bound in a handmade artist book called Boston Harbor. "Flounder" is one of seventy illustrations created for the artist book.
