Chebacco Moonrise is a reduction woodcut that has several unique impressions within the edition. Unique impressions in this edition are the result of adding color, subtracting color, or reordering a color within the edition. A chebacco boat was a common inshore working vessel built and used around Cape Ann in the 1800s. Over the years, Don has drawn the vessels found at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum in Essex, MA.
