Higgins, a Blue-Fronted Amazon Parrot, was also a resident at Stillington Hall in Gloucester, MA, at the time when Don was artist in residence. He belonged to Peter Buswell. The woodcut of Higgins was not editioned, and according to Don, maybe three were made. One of Higgin's feathers is included in the frame, and this is the only print known at this time. The print is signed Happy Birthday Peter, “Young Mr. Higgins.”
