This is an iconic reduction woodcut depicting a salt freighter at the Granite State Mineral Company's pier as seen from Ceres Street in downtown Portsmouth, NH. A reduction woodcut and original drawing is in the collection of the Currier Art Museum, Manchester, NH. The Portsmouth Herald did publish a story illustrated with a photo of Don at his easel working on the large drawing. Don does not have this woodcut in his collection.
