Sea Castle at Windhoek is one of the two stone Victorian houses at the end of Wingaersheek Beach. At the time when Don drew the houses, they were windswept and had naturalized landscapes inhabited by seaweed, seagrasses, and stubborn Sumac. This was one of the first reduction woodcuts made on Don's American French Tool etching press purchased in 1988 while in residence at Stillington Hall, Gloucester, MA. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has a print and the printing block in the permanent collection. The Cape Ann Museum acquired an edition in 2023.
