Art is not just about wild and vivid colors dancing on our retinas. Of course I do love color as it dances upon my eyes and tickles my retinas, flowing over my brain like molten chocolate. But I also love subtlety and texture. That too enriches our minds, and comforts us with the joy of discovery. I was surprised by this piece when I hung it on the wall. Out of the corner of my eye it caressed my brain. At different times of day varying shadows played within it becoming strangely comforting. I think I'll make more.
