The Two Sisters [Tree Bark Series]

With tree branch composition, I create the personage of the two sisters from wood and its bark. I like to create something new from observation and still maintain the subject I work on: people and life. Observing the tree trunk bark and its roughness, tree bark has its own natural effect of cracks as a sign of growth. To work on the rough texture of the bark, my hand moves differently than it used to. Even while working on a different day, the stroke to create roughness is consistent with a steady pace.
