bott = to carry on one’s back
djabott = taking care of everyone
A mother’s affection has a long reach, and metaphorically a long neck which can make her reach each family member. With her spiritual long reach of affection, she brings unity to the family. She spends most of her time with each one. She knows them and they know her. At one point in their lifetime, each child was carried on her back like the youngest one she is carrying here. I was born in an environment like this. I am just describing the story. Each one of us have the story of his or her nine months before he/she can crawl or walk. Even while they can walk, the mother is still walking with them. She is the caretaker of the family. She is the “Djabott” of the family.
