Drumming is not just music, it is also life. In an ordinary life, it is hard to repeat or describe motion in African hand-drumming. The facial expressions, the neck movements, the head rhythm keep the drummer’s posture in constant motion while playing the djembe drum. The textile of the clothing and the patterns of the fabric blend with each movement all because they are like leaves rolling in a very strong wind.
