American born artist living in Williamsburg, VA, Dianna was educated primarily in realism through extensive private tutoring and workshops. With an intensive studio practice Dianna revels in the challenge and creative expansiveness of random marks on naked panels. To crystallize dedication to painting and to freshen her palette and technique, she has participated in month-long residencies in October '16 and '17 at NISDA (Nantucket Island School of Design & Art). In 2018, she was awarded a 3-week residency by the International Encaustic Artists organization at Castle Hill Arts Center's Edgewood Farm, Truro, MA.
Dianna is a Kipaipai Fellow having participated in juried professional artist retreats in 2017 and 2019. She is a member of the Cold Wax Academy and also a part owner of the collective gallery Combine Art Collective in Walla Walla, WA
