Diane McGregor was born in Philadelphia, and grew up in beautiful rural areas of Connecticut and New Jersey. The natural world provided a spiritual connection for her at a very early age, and nature has inspired her art from the beginning. McGregor moved to Tucson in 1976 to study Studio Art and Art History at the University of Arizona, graduating with a BFA with Honors in 1985. She has been exhibiting her work for more than three decades. Her paintings are featured in public and private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Most recently, McGregor's work has been exhibited at Peters Projects in Santa Fe, ART Santa Fe, the Oasis Institute and 516 ARTS in Albuquerque, SMINK in Dallas, Space Gallery in Denver, Crane Arts in Philadelphia, Elemental New Mexico at the Las Cruces Museum of Art, and Minimalism in the 21st Century at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. The artist currently lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
