I recently began hand stitching to create some conceptual abstract art depicting my emotional journey as an artist, specifically as a fabric artist. Before my huge move back to my home country I lived and worked and created art pieces in Southern California. Moving back to Finland was a huge transformation both in my mind and in my body. This artwork represents some of that shift in my mind and thinking about what I was creating.
